We support Aquaid for Afr
The children have put a lot of thought and effort into the design of our new garden. Classes have been involved in site surveys, measuring and mapping the space and working out which areas are shady or sunny. We now have a garden working party of two children from each class to help with the set up and running of our garden. In June 2012 the working party were very lucky to be invited to St Anne Line and Merryland schools in Basildon to have a look at their gardens which were beautiful, it really helped the children with ideas for our garden.

Sponsors of our Eco Garden
Our Eco garden is really starting to take shape, this could not have happened without the help of local businesses and community groups. We have had a very high quality pond liner dontated by Butyl Products in Billericay, wood for the raised beds was donated by Mrs Bevan, scaffold boards from Belcher Roofing, shingle for our pathways has been donated by PGR Timber in Rayleigh, the hedgerow from The Woodland Trust, tree trunks and stepping stones from Maple Tree Surgery and Landscapes in Billericay and a bridge for the pond donated by Mr Darren Lilley.
We are also very grateful to Essex Probation Services Community Payback who have worked extremely hard every weekend to build and create the garden.
Please click on the links below for more information about our sponsors and their products and dont forget to mention Hilltop Junior School.

Thepond in the garden is now filled with water. Although this area is fenced and locked could we please ask that children do not enter the garden area at any time unless accompanied by a member of Hilltop Junior School staff.
