I would like to thank you for your interest and hope you find our website useful and informative. I am very proud to be the Headteacher at Hilltop Junior School, Wickford. It is a good school with a creative and inspiring curriculum where all children are welcomed and supported with their learning. The school is fortunate to have experienced, committed and enthusiastic teachers who are dedicated to ensuring that every single child achieves their full potential.

Our school caters for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 11 years. The school was opened in 1967 to serve the north east area of Wickford. Hilltop Junior School building is of a modern spacious design with 12 attractive classrooms, a large hall, library, covered courtyard, ICT suite and a disabled toilet/shower. The outside areas include a large playground, a trim trail, seating area and a quiet area. We also have an Eco garden with raised beds to grow our own fruit and vegetables, a quiet seating area, a wildlife pond and an Eco greenhouse.
